Biography
Antonello Tamburrino (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II (Naples, Italy) in 1992, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin (Turin, Italy) in 1996.
Since 2006, he has been Full Professor of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Cassino and Southern Latium, Cassino, Italy. From 2014 through 2018, he was Full Professor of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA. He has authored or co-authored more than 250 papers that have appeared in refereed international journals, books, and proceedings of international conferences, and is Co-Editor of three proceedings. His current research interests include Inverse Problems, Electromagnetic Imaging, Nondestructive Evaluation, Computational Electromagnetism, Plasmonics, Homogenization Methods.
Dr. Tamburrino is currently Editor-in-Chief for the scientific journal International Journal on Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics, Subject Editor for the scientific journal NDT & E International, Associate Editor for scientific journal Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation and Chair of the scientific committee of the Italian Association for Nondestructive Testing, Monitoring, Diagnostic.
